I'm a radical mama of four, dedicated to living and parenting outside the lines. I've volunteered as a medic in the Middle East, taught sex ed in Chinatown and media literacy in Juvenile Hall, but no experience could compare to the the challenge and joy of being a mama. Together with my family, I hope to discover beauty and meaning in the simple things while we learn to fight for what's important. Some days I hit the mark, and other days I fall way below the bar, but I keep trying to live an authentic life in a modern big city. When I get a moment to catch my breath, I'll keep you abreast of that perils and triumphs of our journey.
